Why I like this song:
When it comes to debut singles, the key objective is to announce yourself with an immediacy like no other. And this one delivers in spades.
I have a particular memory with this song: It was a sports day in my grade four class and a bunch of my class mates were on a tarp with a radio present. And they, all boys mind you, were all singing along to the chorus. And that's what music should do: cross boundaries to the point that no one cares who's singing it.
