Why I like this song:

2002 was a key year in the evolution of my musical tastes. For it was that year my best friend at the time gave me an mp3 disc with contained a plethora of songs he liked. Obviously he was hoping I would find something on it to like.
And that I did. For on that disc was a bunch anime music. At the time I didn't think much of anime music/Asian pop but I gave it a listen and finding myself, much to my own surprise, enjoying it.
This was a major step for me: Previously I have talked about thinking outside the box and exploring untouched areas but this was a step in such an evolution. Perhaps there was something of note in an area I hadn't previously considered?
In any case, if anyone is wondering why there's a lot of Asian pop being discussed on this blog then that's the reason why.

So where does My Will fit into this? Well this was one that went overlooked for some time. It kept popping up in the playlist but I, for some reason or another, kept skipping it. But then one day, due to it's persistent nature, I decided it sit down and listen to it all the way through. And lo and behold, it won me over. Simply put: It's a great tune.
Damn, InuYasha had some great closing themes, eh?
