Why I like this song:
It has been previously established that Pearl Jam, was a constant presence in my youth. I recall being nine years old, hearing 'Alive' for the first time and thinking it was a revelation.
This song is like Alive in that it represents a time and place - that being the bleak time that was High School. Okay sure that time is never easy for anyone but there is always a younger me sitting at his desk, listening to this song and looking out the window..
