Why I like this song:
Recently I've been discovering the music of one Neil Young.
Those who know me will know that I take great pride in my musical tastes: I care little for genre and will gladly play anything that, in my mind, sounds awesome. So perhaps it is fitting that I should eventually come to Neil Young: A guy who has jumped from proto-grunge, country, blues, hard-rock and back again.
Personally I previously knew Neil Young through his latter day material: Downtown, Rockin' in the Free World and being the Godfather of Grunge. I've also heard his 1990 album Ragged Glory and thought it was superb (as well as being more than capable of standing alongside the grunge albums of the early nineties).
But Neil's fans maintain his 70's material is his best so I had a look.....
